Psychotherapy at Freedom Wings

More Than One Way In

Therapy is individualized. These approaches are tools Cassandra may draw from based on your needs, goals, readiness, and clinical appropriateness. They are not a rigid sequence or a promise that every method will be used with every person.

EMDR

EMDR is a structured psychotherapy approach that helps the brain process experiences that still feel unresolved. Rather than requiring you to describe every detail repeatedly, EMDR uses bilateral stimulation while carefully attending to memories, beliefs, emotions, and body sensations. The work is paced around readiness and safety.

EFT Tapping

EFT tapping combines focused attention with gentle tapping on specific acupressure points. It may be used to help reduce emotional intensity, notice what is happening in the body, and create enough steadiness to approach difficult thoughts or experiences more safely.

Attachment Healing

Attachment-focused therapy explores how early and significant relationships may shape trust, closeness, boundaries, conflict, and the ways you seek or protect yourself from connection. The goal is not to assign a label, but to understand the pattern and build greater security within yourself and your relationships.

Inner Child & Parts Healing

Inner child and parts-informed healing helps identify younger, protective, wounded, or conflicted parts of the self without treating them as something broken. The goal is to understand what those parts learned, what they still need, and how the adult self can respond with greater compassion, choice, and leadership.

Somatic Therapy

Stress and trauma are not experienced only as thoughts. Somatic therapy brings gentle awareness to sensations, movement, tension, breath, and nervous-system responses. This can help you recognize what your body is communicating and develop a safer, more connected relationship with it.

Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy

When clinically appropriate and coordinated with an independent medical prescriber, ketamine-assisted psychotherapy may support deeper therapeutic work. Freedom Wings provides the mental-health portion of care, including preparation, psychotherapy during the experience, and integration afterward. Medication evaluation, prescribing, and instructions remain with the medical provider.

Nervous-System Regulation

Nervous-system regulation is not about staying calm all the time. It is about recognizing activation, shutdown, and protective responses, then building the capacity to return to greater steadiness and connection. Regulation practices are individualized and may draw from grounding, breath, sensory awareness, movement, imagery, and other mind-body tools.

Not sure which approach fits? You do not need to choose a technique before reaching out. Cassandra will help determine what may be most useful and appropriate for you.
